GIMI CHAPTER TWO
There is a profound beauty in having the privilege to obtain a piece that has a pre-written story. Each scuff, tear or pull of the seam has a tale to tell. We believe it is even more of a privilege to be the one that continues their story; a chance to write the chapters to follow.
It may be a pair of vintage Manolo Blahniks you wore that night you met the man of your dreams, or that adorable little Prada bag that you’ve been eyeing and ended up putting 2 months worth of rent towards (totally worth it). Do we dare bring up the Christian Dior slip dress that you wore on a night out with the girls– which inevitably lead into a 6am recap at the local diner?

CHAPTER TWO: Chanel Ballet Flats
I reached out to these ladies to source a pair of Chanel ballet flats (vintage) and they did not disappoint. I ended up selecting a beautiful pair of champagne colored flats and they have not left my body since I received them. So far my biggest outing in them has been to dinners around Boston, but they are definitely being packed with me for my trip to Paris in April!

CHAPTER TWO: ROBERTO CAVALLI DRESS
I am getting married in summer 2025 and needed a dress for my rehearsal dinner! I saw the vintage dresses these girls posted on their stories and I knew they would get my vibe. I sent them my mood board and then they sent me a deck of options. After a little narrowing down, I found this incredible vintage Roberto Cavalli dress. I can’t express how much I love it!

Was as searching high and low for those Chanel mesh sling backs everyone is obsessed with. I got them, and wore them on a first date. I am still dating the guy.
Would like to believe that is has everything to do with the new shoes.

CHAPTER TWO: Gianni Versace Heels
Needed an excuse to buy a new pair of shoes, and when I saw these vintage Versace heels posted on Instagram I knew they were the ones I needed. I have worn them several times since buying. They are one of my favorite new date night shoes. If I can give advice to anyone looking at a piece from Gimi Rarity it would be: If you love something, just buy it and don’t think twice!
