Influencers that we actually keep up with

(Love you but) All influencers are not created equal.

It is no well-kept secret that the influencer scene has become oversaturated to say the least. It seems like a task in and of itself keeping up with the next up and coming influencer and her overflowing recommendations. It becomes overwhelming at times and will definitely bring you to a point of wanting to shut down your phone for an absurd amount of time just to disconnect (and to keep from going broke of course). However, that doesn’t mean we haven’t inducted ourselves in several cult followings of the influencer scene.

That all being said, I am here to tell you the lucky few that continue to hold our attention - at all times. Whether it is their dry, sarcastic humor that finds its way in everything they share, their style, their home content or just their mere effortless beauty, ladies, we’ve quite literally been hooked. While it was nearly impossible to narrow this down to just a few, I plan on dividing this into a few different blog posts to give you all something to read over on your morning commutes in the next coming weeks (thoughtful of me, I know).

Let’s dive into this, shall we?

  1. COURTNEY GROW

Love you.

Let’s stop acting like she is not the easiest most entertaining person to follow and take any and all recommendations from. I mean, she has this certain influence that manages to get you to order the whole entire The Row SS collection without thinking twice. We all know some purchases truly require time to think over, budget over, but when it comes to the recommendations of Courtney, I’m all in.

2. ELIZABETH BENNETT

Sorry, but yes, some people just know how to do it better.

Aside from always looking like she needs to be featured in some sort of magazine article for curating the most perfect looks, Elizabeth has taught us a very important lesson through her influence. Always share every photo included in the burst as it is just as important as the best pulled ones from the bunch.

Following her inevitable influence in fashion, her effortless and playful content will consistently always pull us in to want to live vicariously through her (and her looks).

3. MICHAL KURTIS

Caption: “Back from Berlin but I still dress to the reins.”

This should have been a no brainer. When I first discovered Michal she was still running the show at Barney’s (loyal follower) and when I came across her profile I truly felt like I hit a goldmine. I remember going through every single post on her feed, cracking up at every single caption (like how the hell did she even think of that?!), fawning over all of her looks, and wondering what it would be like to be friends with someone this witty and sarcastic - would I have met my match?

There is no one like Michal and her German (I may have manifested that so hard because I ended up marrying a German too), and if you aren’t already, start keeping tabs.

4. Gabriella Gofis

SO cute and perfect you just want to hug her (and I am not a hugger).

I can’t imagine how anyone hasn’t already had Gab come up on their feed/stories in one way or another. I remember following her when she first started with about 600 followers and loving every single picture she shared. I was hooked from the start, what can I say!

Aside from aligning so perfectly when it comes to home aesthetic, and the pieces she shares/looks she puts together, she is one of the most genuinely kind influencers in the scene at the moment. I feel at times being an influencer to a rapidly growing following sometimes puts you in a position to lose sight of the work and what you are really trying to share with your community, but since Gab has started it has always felt so true to her, like she will only share things that she truly loves and believes in and for that, I love her.

I can go on, and continue sharing, but why would I do that? Keep up with our posts for more of the influencers that are maintaining our attention, and credit cards.
